Secure login and data communication between your browser and the server is achieved using 256-bit RSA High-Grade Secure Socket Layer (SSL) Encryption (the highest level available with standard browsers). Sophisticated authentication and authorisation controls on our servers ensure that your data is safe, secure, and available only to those Users and persons granted as such.
Tacola ECM provides each user with a unique user name and password that must be entered each time a User logs on. Tacola ECM issues a session 'cookie' only to record encrypted authentication information for the duration of a specific session. The session 'cookie' does not include either the username or password of the user.
In addition, Tacola ECM is hosted in a secure server environment that uses full hardware firewalling with packet-inspection, virus guard, host intrusion detection and other advanced technology to prevent interference or access from outside intruders. Moreover, Tacola's data centre is held in a dedicated, secure hosting environment with 24-hour CCTV and strict security.
Tacola's fileservers use RAID technology to minimise the risk of file loss. In addition, all data is backed up on regular rotation to our off-site backup servers.
